Ms. Sukanya Sonowal

Assistant Professor

Miss Sukanya Sonowal holds her MPhil degree in the Department of Humanities & Social Science from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Guwahati for her dissertation titled “Substance Abuse Among Singpho Community: A Socio- Cultural Analysis in the year 2019 and currently pursuing her Ph.D degree from TISS, Guwahati. Additionally, she has also done a six months Certificate Course on NorthEast India Studies from Omeo Kumar Das Institute of Social Change & Development, Guwahati.

She has dedicated almost 5 years as an Assistant Professor at SIPE Law College. She has presented papers at national & international seminars and has numerous research publications to her credit. She has also participated in various workshop, Awareness Programme, Faculty Development Programme etc.
